A country that cannot produce ordinary ak47 for her military. . . . . . . Why is this place smelling like Buhari.
How many countries produce AK47? Do you know what it means for an item to be patented? Other countries buy AK47 from the producing nation., not produce it. That's illegal.

Just look at how relaxed they look. They are taking delivery of ammo and they are there like it's just regular cargo.

horsepower101:
More weapons for boko harm to use..

Nigerian soldiers always abandon their weapons stash in the heat of firefight..

That's how boko haram keeps getting their fresh supplies.

So it has got to extent that Government importation are now displaying online for political gain, what a shame?

What were u expecting? Everything is achievement under this clueless govt, some things that even ought to be kept secret due to national
security re brought out to the open so that the "foolish" ones can hail them that they have achieved so much .

Mind u I know they did this to spite the Jonathan led government of pre-2015 which wanted to buy arms for the country Bt went thru the back door and the money meant for the procurement was seized by the South African govt. They showcase things like this simply because they have little or nothing to show as achievements...

When will the Nigerian military start to invest locally so as to have these arms manufactured here? We are sinking deeper into this imperialist world. We keep exporting jobs and later they will empower the youths with shoe shinning kits.

You have a population of over 180million people. Yet, we cannot forge our own weapons. This same population is not good enough to produce a car for the president. Our security chiefs are busy riding in bullet proof Mercedes and BMW. Ibe Kachikwu told us it's cheaper to import petroleum products than to refine in Nigeria without considering the implications of having an unproductive population.

Then when a group of people decides they don't want to be part of the country they all go haywire when they themselves don't believe in the Nigerian people.

It's on record that the Biafran military did manufacture arms and also refined crude oil in the face of necessity. Yet, Nigeria as a whole haven't been able to achieve such a feet and some people are happy just the way it is.

Why cant we see it.

How can we ignore the signs.

Some entities, sovereign, corporate or otherwise are actually sponsoring killings, massacres aka population reduction in our country.

We are a broke nation, they have enjoyed from our arms budget for years when we are not fighting an external war, we are fighting in-country wars, aka kidnappers, armed robbers, boko haram, fulani herdsmen, IPOB, miscreants, yahoo boys, badoo, vandals etc, we are killing our ownselves because the leadership has destroyed the country and people go into vices to survive.

Now they are giving us free weapons when we are not at war with an external aggressor.

What is the donor having in mind ? Do we ask ? What is the donor having in mind ? 'Give 'em the guns, to fuccking killeach atha', we dont want no too much niggars on this planet mehn. lol

I truly think Buhari should step down, shouldnt wait for election to loose. Not because I do not like him, the man has tried given that he is illiterate of the geopolitical games, in international politics. But it is time for someone to wake him up and tell him that the end is near for Nigeria as a country. The stress level is just so high out there. I hardly drive but when I tried to drive myself some couple of days ago, I saw the madness level made normal.

And these are showing up in high rates of crime stories, killings, robbery, fraud etc.

Can someone who knows someone that knows Buhari ask the man to step down ? And stop receiving free weapons ? There US/France Army Base at Mali and Chad and today we are receiving free weapons ?

Damn!

This is what the west will gladly give us, arms to kill ourselves in order to make them rich. That's why buhari goes to UK everyday and purchased Americas favor with $500m and duty free food importation from American farmers.

Civil disobedience, that’s not our problem. Our problem is that people are obedient all over Nigeria in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country. That’s our problem.

Manufacture your own ammunitions Nigeria and stop buying overused weapons from the West.

What am I even saying? How can the country manufacture its own weapons when the government is busy providing the youths with shoe shining materials. undecided

Isokey, continue receiving from defense partners at more than 50yrs. Don’t look inwards and start producing and be self sustainant, soon those partners will turn their backs on you or start giving you conditions. Agbaya
