Hate Speeches Will Have An Adverse Effect On 2019 General Elections - Jega by Tiwaz2: 3:31pm On May 28, 2018
Ex Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, on Monday raised the alarm that if not addressed, growing violence and hate speeches will have an adverse effect on the 2019 general elections.

He said this in a lecture titled “Peace building and good governance for sustainable development in Nigeria” he delivered to mark the 2018 Democracy Day in Abuja.

Other threats to the election, according to Jega are the delay in the passage of the electoral framework for the coming election and lack of internal democracy among political parties.

What is INEC's business with internal democracy amongst parties?

INEC is supposed to be neutral, if a political party does not meet constitution deadline... the ready ones would go ahead..

This is why people allege INEC is partisan..
