I can authoritatively attest that this people have a very good claim irrespective of how stupid it looks in the civilized world. Several attempt made by government to restart the mill end up with new problems when old problems were solved. Even the Russians have to leave at some point when they where invited. The indians made success with Ajaokuta because they brought their own diety and worshipped it right in the mill. Government should settle them because personally i dont belief in bullshit but i live there for about 20years so i know what am saying moreover the spirit rules the physical |

Ajaojuta as the name implies belongs to Ebira people, my late father never told me of a name like Egbunu Akoko, the entire land where Ajaokuta steal company was located belongs to the people of Kogi Central (EBIRA) precisely, a land dominated by Muslims followed by Christians we don't believe on stuffs like ancestors getting angry, we are development loving people, even our forefathers loved development, that's the reason Y Ebira land remains the most developed area in Kogi state that man should remain silent 1 Like |

My advice for the community is to forget about any promises ASCO or whatever made to them and they should focus more on their community development and leave one ancestor that has died since God knows when to his peaceful slumber;they should let him rest in peace. |

i remember in 2015 when i visited that place...our tour guide took us round and told us Ajaokuta had the ability of generating 30,000 jobs. He said 3 factors are hindering that place from working....international factor, National factor and State Factor. He said Shagari almost completed that project until Buhari stopped it. He said Ajaokuta was above 92% complete and the Russians who built it said they can still revive it. Anyways he said he doesn't expect Ajaokuta to work thanks to the man who Stopped it being in power...Our tour guide said and i quote " I am from Katsina state and i didn't vote Buhari because if i work in the place he destroyed "......Some Pple will come for my head now.... |

Ratello:This is not primitive reasoning at all; infact they are exhibiting native intelligence. These people's land was acquired and they're shortchanged. The only weapon they have now is to browbeat the govt to fulfil the promises made to them. They know that as Africans one way to go about it is to instil fear of the unknown on the other guys. Given the level of fetish belief in this part of the world, the tactic could work wonders. |

Hotfreeze:Yes omoluabi. I believe Niger Delta should go with Igbo people for Nigeria to split easily. Since Igbo always include their land in Biafra, it would be much more easier. The Northerners always behave like they own Nigeria. They control the sea port and oil blocs. They created more states and local government areas so they can milk the South. How can people that don't have access to sea control the sea ports for decades at the expense of Yoruba? How can who ban alcohol collect tax from other regions that drink it? To make it worse, they are against restructuring. They even say it to our face. Isn't that annoying? They are looking for ways to give mord power to the federal government. They have cornered all weapons so they maltreat people that speak against them. All terrorism, illiteracy, paratism is from them. I have seen these Fulani guys rearing their cattles on people's streets here in Yoruba land. In this twenty first century? Are these guys not backward in reasoning? Which Yoruba person will do such a thing? Nigeria will never be restructured. And I believe the only way Nigeria will split is if the south leave the country. Southern leaders are useless cowards. The best way defeat those cowardly leaders is for the people to go against them. If the Niger deltans join the Igbos, they will form a formidable force which Nigeria will dare not go against. I trust my Yoruba people will kukuly and jejely declare their own Republic while also supporting Biafrans against the unabashed parasitic North. |

cenaman:Ogoni man, I pity you people no be small. You called me IPOB? Lols! I am a full blooded Yoruba man. I was watching Aljazeera a yesterday when I saw how your land has been destroyed by oil spillage. Your people can't have fresh water anymore. Their water have been contaminated. Your crops destroyed. Your people abandoned. What touched me the most is that because your rivers have been destroyed by crude oil, your people have no choice but to consume them. They Northerners own majority of the oil bloc. They created more states and local gov areas so they can suck you dry, and you talk about Ibos? The North are against alcohol consumption but receive tax from South that drink it? I agree that they are very greedy in nature but how then do you intend to free yourselves from the parasitic Northerners if not to form coalition with the Ibos? Is this how you want your children and grand children to live? Think about it |
