So sad. I lived in Nkanu-land, and I consider the Nkanu people one of the nicest humans I have come across. From Awkunanaw to Awgu, from Ihuokpara to Amagunze, the Nkanu people are generally welcoming to strangers and non-violent by nature. That this happened there is surprising to me. Maybe the monarch has a history of high-handednes, but still, it is not an excuse for a life to be taken. Hopefully the community heals. 3 Likes |
