Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has apologized to the family of the winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential elections, Chief MKO Abiola, over the annulment of the election by the General Ibrahim Babangida administration. Buhari made the apology on Tuesday, in Abuja during the presentation of awards and Special National Honours Investiture to heroes of the June 12, 1993 presidential election. |
