An Uncle in Abj just confirmed it dat their inters av nt always been lik dat... You won't be having close contact with their main stream.

I got the congratulatory mail too. But this 5k we are to pay, it means they don't pay their interns then, cos I feel we are paying to be trained or something.
Just my view though.

So I tried my own little search online, I don't think the Coy is as exotic or highbrow as we are meant to believe, IMHO, it's still a growing company and they used to have a nairaland moniker "dataville"l, which is no longer active, either deactivated it blocked.

So, I don't think anyone should pay 5k just to share SPSS or Stata (I think 5k Data can download both packages plus tutorials), even the timeline is just one & a half month, and who needs a certificate of internship?

How would we go into the field, what projects are they working on, are they collaborating with any NGO or CSO or Federal/State govt MDA.

I am not discouraging anyone, but whoever wants to do that should proceed with caution, then the name if sender "Evelyn Mallo" that's not Nigerian I think, I tried searching it on FB and no Nigerian was on the list.

One more, if it were a credibe internship, Atleast some nairalanders should have benefited from it or someone should know someone that knows someone who has benefited from it before, which was not this "remote internship". Someone could do another search also.

One can't be too careful with 5k.

I also got a confirmation email too about being successful but like we have all mentioned, having to pay #5,000 sounds suspicious. So what's the way forward then, I stay in Jos but I cannot find an address for their office in Jos. Does anyone know??

Another way to look at this, is there anyone with a regret or unsuccessful mail? seems like everyone made it through

seems almost everyone got the sucess mail, that's why it is remote role so no problem about the facilities and all tha is needed to accommodate all. but come to think of it 5k*1000 interns is something oo
let's be smart, why would they ask interns to pay for training.. it's ridiculous
