President Muhammadu Buhari will sign the 2018 budget next week.

This was confirmed by his spokesperson, Femi Adesina, on Wednesday.

Adesina was speaking to State House correspondents, at the end of the meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

“The budget will be signed next week. We will give you the specific date when it is confirmed,” he said.

The National Assembly passed the budget on May 16, over seven months after the president submitted the proposals to the lawmaker.

Buhari presented a proposed budget of eight trillion, six hundred and twelve billion, two hundred and thirty-six million, nine hundred and fifty-three thousand, two hundred and fourteen Naira (N8,612, 236,953,214) to the lawmakers.

Is he going to sign the N9.7 trillion bucks as against his N7trillion bucks??

is this suppose to be news at all..what are we paying him for....it is only in nigeria where we praise politicians for using our own money to build infrastructures, as though it was their money that thy are using...buhari should do his job and stop making noise...
