Personal deliverance is a do-it-yourself way of solving life's (spiritual) problems. Whatever you're battling with, whatever you're going through, if it has spiritual undertone then there is a way out through Christ and through prayers. You may be fighting a spiritual battle or there is a spiritual force behind a situation in your life, you can overcome them in prayers.


Exodus 14:14 "The Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."


Psalm 18: 1-3, 17, Job 5: 19-26



Before you go into personal or self deliverance, please note the following:


1. Be born again : ( John 3: 16 ). Submit your life to Jesus Christ. He is the one who will deliver you ( John 10 :10 )


2. Confess your sins to God ( Proverbs 28 :13 )


3. Live a holy life ( 1 Thessalonians 5: 22 )



Why Do You Need Deliverance



You need deliverance because you need God and God is a deliverer. Psalm 121, Psalm 20: 7, Luke 1: 74- 75, Zechariah 4: 6, Psalm 107: 19- 20.


When you're down, when you're at your wits end, when you don't know what to do, when you're about to give up or lost hope. when you're having nightmares or your dream life is a battle, you need God; you need deliverance. If you're fearful, have sex in the dream, eat constantly in the dream or having a hard time trying to conceive, then you need God, you need deliverance and God will deliver you, he will see you through it. Psalm 46


Tips For Personal Deliverance


1. Praise and worship ( Exodus 15: 11 ). A lifestyle of praising and worshiping God will give you victory at all times.


2. Forgiveness ( Matthew 6: 14 ). When you forgive others, the Lord will forgive you and when God forgives you, you're free.


3. Be merciful ( Matthew 5: 7). When you show mercy, the Lord will show you mercy. If you want to see the mercy of God, show mercy to others.


4. Thanking God ( Philippians 4: 6- 7, 1 Thessalonians 5: 18 )


5. Don't be talkative ( Proverbs 10: 19 ). If you talk too much you will reveal your secrets and when your secrets is out, you're not safe.


6. Pray for revelation ( Jeremiah 33: 3 ). Ask God to reveal to you what is hidden, the secret of what you're passing through.


7. Give ( Luke 6: 38 ). Giving is an act of kindness, a show of love. When you give, God meets your needs. The more you give, the more you get.


8. Prayer ( Luke 18: 1, 1 Thessalonians 5: 17 ). Pray always. Pray about everything.


9. Receive the Holy Ghost ( 2 Corinthians 3: 17 ). The Holy Spirit reveals what is going on in your life and guides you on how to pray. The Holy Spirit also brings spiritual gifts and teaches you how to pray and to please God. He makes you humble, kind, tolerant, loving, good, etc. Ask God to fill you with His Spirit. Keep praying till you receive it.


9. Live a holy life . Isaiah 59: 2, John 9: 31


10. The word of God ( Joshua 1: 8 ). Read and memorise the word of God, the bible and always declare it and pray with it.
