When you get married or start a serious relationship, you may think everything will be perfect. Realistically, though, even a man and a woman who truly love each other will have some problems. On this thread, you will find out the principles that if applied can make your relationship and marriage a happy one. Step 1- Accept the role God gave you: The man is the head of the family. As a man God expects you to care for your family. Women are created to complement men, so God expect you to treat them with respect and dignity. What you can do: Ask your mate how you can be a better man/woman. Listen carefully, and do what you can to improve. Be patient. It will take time for both of you to share mutual happiness. Step 2- Care about your mate's feelings: You need to look out for the interest of your mate in a relationship. Treat your mate as precious. Thoughtless speech is like stabs of a sword, so choose your words wisely. What you can do- Pray for help to remain calm and keep an open mind before discussing a serious matter with your mate. Think carefully about what you will say and how you will say it. To be continued. .............. |
