Heavy rainfall reportedly dragged people and properties into gutters in Onitsha, Anambra State last night.

This was made known in a post by Twitter user, kingabsolute_ who claimed three staffs of a bank has been declared dead by the drowning.

"As Lagos was mourning the gas explosion incident yesterday, Onitsha (Anambra State) woke up to another sad news.

The rain yesterday caused heavy flooding which dragged people and properties into gutters.

3 staffs of a bank declared dead by drowning. #PrayForNigeria"
