I actually thought the Nigerian team gave the Argentines too much respect on the day. We should have at least secured a draw. They were lazy and waiting for the argentines to score. No pressure whatsoever on the Argentines - in football, you force your opponents to make mistakes - and you take your chances when they do. Argentina was really poor in this World Cup. They didn’t deserve to win a match. Glad they loosed against France. |
