There are over 20,000 storey buildings ranging from 1 to 5 levels floors in most cases double flats in them in Oba urban part of Onitsha metropolitan area alone!. These houses contains between 30 to 40 people living in each of them and this is a massive population!

Nigeria deliberately undercounts Onitsha because revenue allocation was based on population. Therefore, in order to cheat, places like Onitsha, they under-count them.

But international organizations just concerned with mapping where human habitat are located globally are not constrained to lie like the Nigerian fake figures. This is partly why Nigeria cannot progress without restructuring the country. There has to be a way to plan for these population centers outside the politics of Abuja, else Nigeria will naturally implode at some point.

The second niger bridge is coming with interchanges, though I'm doubtful of whether the rail adjoinment is still part and parcel of the structural design,

The state government recently constituted road design committee, let's wait to see their output,

Not just osha, but awka, nnewi and other places, needs more interconnectedness via road infrastructure,
We heard of Regina caeli flyover, revenue Junction interchange,in recent past but still no actions,

Wonder how long the state government gonna wait on FG to reimburse her, for expenditures expended on federal road projects?

For a start parts of awka is being expanded, that is a plus.

Onitsha touts should be cleared from major roads like Upper iweka, Owerri,Portharcourt, Bida,Oguta,Limca, Obosi roads etc so that the City businesses & investment are not hindered by those nefarious elements!.
