It is that time again when those who have political aspirations for 2019 have to begin to announce their interest before party primaries take place. This has probably informed the formal disclosure by Prince Kayode Moshood Akiolu, the son of the Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rilwan Akiolu that he will be running for the House of Representative seat for Lagos Island Constituency II, the seat is currently held by Honourable Yakub Balogun.



Our research indicates the prince has updated his profile picture with a campaign poster indicating he will be running under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The prince has his work cut-out but his friends seem to believe, he has what it takes to get the party nomination and then go on to win. We wish him all the best.
