If you go round this country you will discover that it`s only in Lagos that soldiers, police, immigration, LASTMA, KAI etc don`t pay T.fares. This is not so in other parts of the country even in Abuja.

You don`t need to wear a complete uniform in Lagos before you have a free ride, all you need do is have a clean shave and put on a barret and you will be transported for free. It`s not only in the transport sector that this happen in Lagos, it`s happens everywhere even in mama put joints.

Folks why do we fear uniform men so much in Lagos?

It happens every where. Police and soldiers hardly pay fare due to their influence and if you study well, you wl see they are mostly carried by drivers so they can avoid lots of barrier on their way. For instance if a driver is carrying a soldier that driver won't pay 100 or 40 naira to any other police on checkpoint or agbero.

N:B they don't force you to carry them.

It is not only in Lagos, all over Nigeria. But the only place they don't get free ride is in the aircraft. it is a shame for a country that even common Man 'O' War carry guns in UNIPORT when they are not licensed to do so. They have so much abused their privilege to the point that they beat up three students to the point that two died instantly while the other one is critically ill over N3,000.
Show me a man with a uniform and i will show you lawlessness at its peak.
