The Schools daystar rebuilt were the PRIMARY school in the Cantonment.

The School fashola rebuilt is the Junior and Senior Secondary School in the Cantonment.


There are different schools within the Cantonment.

These were days we used "soak away's toilet," it's used to be fun though. You watched rats eating your poo.s right on the spot. Dam.n again! Modern desks and chairs, so pupils can't fight and throw the chairs no more? Because those look kind of heavy! Then, I used to steal the P.T.A. desks to build my rabbits' cage, chickens' coop and borris' cart (I used this to fetch water for people and get paid for that).

Dude, im with you on this one! Why is the guy just becoming governor decades after i left pry school and used those 'chicken coops' called jakande blocks? Men!those things were hot! Walahi, if they allow some kids wouldnt mind exchanging the jakande blocks for these tiolets.

This is a good first step because there is no point building "ultra mordern" classrooms if we don't have world class teachers teaching the students. I would rather school in a hut but have my teachers be the best in the business rather than be in an air conditioned plush classroom and my teacher is just an HND holder.

Why not partner with organizations out there to send these WORLD class teachers to Volunteer for a time in Nigeria? I think we are well overdue for both Mordern Classrooms/Schools and World class teachers.

@ 50 we are celebrating building of schools ! commissioning of classrooms ! so its a privilege ?

In just a few short years, this guy has done wonderful things for Lagos. It just makes you wonder what could have happened if others have contributed their own fair share to the development of Nigeria.

Turns out that i attended the the Schools at the Ikeja Cantonment and was a victim

of the aftermath of the bomb diaster, seeing this just makes me smile, like somehere stated, 80 leaves, in my case, Higher education,

Very impressive. I think the next thing should be to set up a special ministry to maintain all these beautiful projects. Naija lacks maintainance culture. I hope it isn't same with Lagos State.
