Letenwam:Good news but I dont really believe most of this story. A Nigerian woman living in USA told her hubby that she was pregnant but she was having the feeling that she might miscarried it. She told her hubby that she needs to go to Nigeria so her parent can take care of her. She later gave birth to twins here in Nigeria. Big celebration! They took the kids to US embassy in Lagos to get travel docs for the kids (hubby is US citizen while the woman is a permanent resident), guess what, it was discovered that the kids doesn't belong to the couple. The woman bought the kids. It was a big case because the embassy involved Nigerian police. You can google it to read more about the story |

QuitNotice: You need to see some women in their fifties, they look like those in their forties. Take good care of your body and people would mistake you as being younger. Meanwhile, to God be the glory for the birth of that Wonder Child. |

Congratulations to her. Before now, I know her situation was not worst than uncountable ladies in many churches across the country. If you doubt me, try visiting any mega church during their "singles programmes". I really happy for her, at last she now have her own gift from Almighty father to call her mummy. |

The baby looks like her mum. So where are all the ignorant Nigerian men that were saying that a woman cannot conceive after 50 years old? Some even said if a woman manages to conceive at over 50, it is not her eggs that were used. Very ignorant talk! Thank God baby Victoria looks like her mum. Let me hear any ignoramus claim it was not the woman's egg that was used. May Jehovah God be praised. He did it for Sarah in the bible, Hannah in the bible and now for Mama Victoria. He changeth not. God is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. If you are trusting God for the fruit of the womb, yours is coming. Have faith. 1 Like |

CAPSLOCKED: Not entirely correct. Average age of menopause is just over 51 years, but a few up about 55. Yes you see premature menopause (under age 40) and early menopause (under age 45) more often these days. But some over 50s are still there. If this woman grew up the old way, with less fatty food and if her female blood relatives typically begin having periods (menarche) later in life like from above 13 or 14 years, she probably had her first period at same age too. Which could mean delayed menopause well above the average age of 51. My only concern is that peri-menopause (quite likely at that age) would have decreased her chances even further at age 52 or thereabout that she conceived. In Nigeria most people choose to claim miracle instead of telling us they used assisted reproduction or even surrogacy. This encourages TTC people to keep waiting for miracle when using available technology might actually help. Especially women still under 40 who might still have higher success rates with assisted reproduction. 2 Likes 1 Share |

AreaFada2: You must be a professional but however we all know that this lady has not reached her menopause The age cited up there is fake For the sake of this news her age must be around 35 to 45 To put the news aside she must be younger than her age if she is really 53. Hope you understand what am trying say?

Once u hear God ,all reasoning flees. Some spend up to 2million for this kind of miracle. They are littered everywhere in this country and government keep closed eyes. The worst is that there is no true adoption again. All motherless babies home in Nigeria liaise with hospitals to steal babies. I had wanted to adopt a child in Nigeria as part of a promise I made to myself when I was young. Told my husband and he agreed as long as it doesn't stop me from giving birth to our children. What I saw in motherless babies home and hospital shocked me. These guys thought they were doing me huge favour. More than 4 stolen new born babies were brought to me through a middle man. I was so shocked and a desperate person will just take somebody's child just like that. Nigeria is dead and the inhabitants very wicked. My money was returned to me cos I threatened them but not complete. I had since decided not to try that again. On Sunday u will see them with bibles going to church. It sucks to be a Nigerian. Nothing good ever come out of her. |

sassysure: I wonder how anyone can happily live with a stolen child without her conscience being pricked. Surrogacy and legal adoption are good options. |
