The only reason this mumuric idiat is advocating for ranches is because the killer herdsmen are Muslims. If it were a christian group, he would have written an epistle to discourage the government from stepping in. There Is God sha.

Lets start by having a Christian president like ghana

Sis, it's not about having a Christian President. We had Obasanjo and Jonathan (GEJ from the perceived marginalised region) yet nothing worked. In fact, evil, corruption and stealing were institutionalized under them. Christians have the biggest and largest churches in Nigeria if not in the world, yet poverty and ungodliness among members is endemic and no end in sight.

I think, it is high time we tried a non-religious president. Religion is license to cheat, manipulate and self-aggrandizement. My humble opinion.

There is no problem with ranching. However, it should be limited to the northern states (which have more landmass than the south in the first place) and it should be executed with private funds. The establishment of ranches cannot be used as a Trojan horse for Islamic militants to gain a foothold in southern Nigeria.
The fact that MURIC and its belligerent leader backs the proposal is enough reason to be suspicious of the deeper intentions and parallel strategy at play.

Cattle ranching setles it. It is the common practice the world over. If we are to measure up with 21st century societies, we hanceforth must stop rejecting the idea and practice of cattle ranching. How amazing that Ghana, who by far the most brutal against fulani herdsmen, have embraced such a lofty idea.

Why is MURIC always pushing for Fulani agenda?
Did anybody stop the herdsmen or the FG from establishing ranches in North west and North east?

Even if FG wants to use all our yearly budget plus reserve to build ranches for herdsmen, I don't even care. The only thing is they should build it in the NW and NE Afterall they have the largest land in the country

Do you mean private ranching where the cattle owners also pay tax? I hope you also know that it wasn't the government but a private firm that set up the ranch? Not like our own where FG just want to dash them free land

This muric guy is economical with the truth. He said cattle rustler destroyed farmland but fail to label fulani herdsmen as the main clash with farmers in that country. He also forgot to tell us that its government of Ghana that own ranches since they have successfully drive away the herders from eating their farm produce. He is not telling the whole story undecided

Nigerians are not opposed to having ranches anywhere. What they dont want is grazing route.

Southerners can set up ranches in the south and so on.

But grazing route? That will not work!
Re: Cattle Ranching: Nigeria Should Learn From Ghana – MURIC by Nobody: 5:06pm On Jul 16, 2018
Although, MURIC most time give out unnecessary information just like CAN but what they highlighted up there is a promising solution to this menace provided the citizens can accept that , but will they? Hell No.

There are different categories of people benefiting from this killing either directly or indirectly and they will expend their last breath to make sure that they frustrate Nigeria and make it inhabitable.

1) The Herdsmen themselves are gaining from this menace, they will not necessarily buy the idea of ranching unless the government can enforce it with full force. These people lived all their life practicing open grazing, it’ll be really hard to confine them to some sort of ranches

2) The enemy of Nigeria who has sworn to hate Nigeria and other tribe due to the wrong of the past committed by the greedy elders on both side of the divide. That kind of hate is what the black Americans had for the whites because it’s really hard to be seeing someone that does some injustice to your fathers and still not feel some resentment. It’s a type of psychological hatred that will remain until they can anticipate themselves and learn to forgive wholeheartedly.

3) The cattle rustlers themselves. We can always try to neglect them by saying the Herdsmen kill them first but they truly exist and it’s not that easy to see your investment being destroyed and not react

4) The opportunist politicians that will use this menace to curry favor from the citizens by saying they can solve this menace if they were to be in government and In turn heat up the polity to favor their aspirations

5) The propagandist that always say this is a form of Islamization , these people are devoid of reasoning because herdsmen have been grazing even since the days of my forefathers but yet Nigeria hasn’t been islamized and I don’t really know what exactly they mean by Islamization.

The only people losing from this unfortunate killings are the people of the Middle belt and I feel so sad that they find their self in this type of environment , people, government and country.

Don't worry you will soon see national vulgarizer reserve.

Lol this must be sarcasm. Theres nothing wrong with grass in north. How does Niger Republic right above Nigeria export cows to us. If you're referring to Tse Tse thats a nationwide issue. Lastly the states in SS and SE rejected prosal.

Its weird the people calling for ranches are falling over themselves giving land to government. They also have option of setting it up themselves.

Ejimagift:
Muric and Muslims nationwide has been vindicated. Only ranching can solve this crisis. The ranches should be Established in the South east, South South. The west and north grasses has diseases that kills cattles.
