The national carrier project is just a feel good ego boosting project. Nobody has asked why Arik and Aero failed but they want to start a new one.

It's already dead on arrival ...by December they will paint a hired demonstration plane and fly it into Abuja where the president and his cabinet launch the fake plane and then fake recruitment will start all which will die down after the 2019 elections have been won or lost...This is not the first time it's happening .

Aero and Arik and currently owned by AMCON(FG) so if the FG was serious about a National Carrier and not a political stunt, they would have combined the two airlines, invited the so called investor with 95% to inject the funds, technical know how and boom you have an air line with planes already flying.

2) FG says it will only have 5% yet drop $300M?

on this particular one i stand with madam ezekwezili. FG have no business buying aircraft or spending 300million dollars to resuscitate a moribund aircraft. All that is required of them is to fix our airport to world class standard and create and enabling environment for private sector run aircraft business. Otherwise they are just playing to the gallery and wasting our money.
