Document authentication is a big deal. A very big deal.

Telegram has to solve the problem of security and gain user trust for this feature. One data hack and the idea dies.
Third world users might be more likely to adopt this than western nations but I see the feature evolving away from phone based authentication (you don't actually own your phone number, the phone company does) to something like private key authentication.

The idea is good though.

This is the only use of telegram. Only forex traders use this app
forex traders are not only. People controlling the world's economy can't be described as only. And there are whole lots of other activities going on on telegram. Ethical hacking, pornography, gun running, drug dealings, gamblings and betting, crytocurrencies and foreign exchange etc. All darkweb activities also takes place in telegram. Look at the pics. They're lists of most popular telegram channels categories

I do and I can provide you with more than 100 of my associates that use it too. The world is ever evolving boss. Don't confine yourself. I am writing this to clarify things. Visit https://www.candydrop.io/site/signup?project=hpb&invitation_code=1909b4a4667d (you can't do anything without telegram)

Visit also https://www.avinoc.com/r/XiMzFhX8yVjU (go down to the end of the website you will see me as part of team. I am Joshua Emmanuel, look me up in fb thru that link)

Finally, **DOWNLOAD** Telegram app and find me with my username, @emjoe1 is my username there too.

We learn everyday. Either thru corrections from our mistakes or by mentorship. Don't be left out boss.

Even one of the commissioners in Akwa Ibom State is into cryptocurrencies. She is Meflyn Anwana (Do your research please), and she uses telegram too.

There are two social media user, the business folks and visitors.

You don't need the Telegram because you seems settle for less.

Telegram is an app for modern guys ok and I will advice you to double up and join the Telegram folks ok.

Soon you will be making payment on most of social media such as Telegram, Facebook, Tweeter, LinkeId but Whatsapp is no go area for this payment because of its limitation.

Learn more my lady.

I started using whatsapp when only about 5 of my contact were registered and I have stuck with it ever since. When it comes to social media, I know what suits me and what doesn't. I have downloaded telegram at least up to 5 times in both of my devices and each time, I deleted it less than a week later. The app simply doesn't work for me. It is too noisy and the interface is not user friendly.

Your excuse is only genuine to you but not enough to turn you away from using or clinging to it.

Though not compulsory you use it but if you are a kind that use social media beyond ordinary charting, then you will be force to learn and use Telegram by all means either the interface is friendly or not.

Data verification is getting easier by the day and would change loads. Imagine when banks don't have to ask for your Id when you want to transact or when you are leaving the country, the only thing needed will be your whatsapp number as it is has been verified.

Functionally, telegram does virtually everything better than whatsapp ; file sharing capacity, privacy, cloud storage, group capacity, quality of images sent, limit to size of uploadable videos....almost everything. The only reason its not more popular yet is that whatsapp started first which explains the far larger user base. People would rather stick with what is popular than what is better. Also, whatsapp serves the basic needs of majority of its users ,most of whom are teenagers and young adults who really don't understand the true value of what they are missing.
