Now, we have a date.
Okay.

I wondered why the block head of a Senate President wanted a 2 months forced holiday for in the first place just like the primary school students on summer break.
And they keep making billions they don't work for.
Bunch of rogues doing nothing and some youths tgey dont have any plans for supporting them night and day.

All High Courts, Shariah Courts of Appeals, Customary Courts of Appeals, Federal High Courts, National Industrial Courts, Code of Conduct Tribunal, Court of Appeals, Supreme Court and all superior courts of records are currently on their yearly vacation which will last for two months as they resume in September.

Your president last year was on vacation for more than 170 days. Every civil servant also proceeds on annual leave of 30 working days which translates to more than 2 months.

Enough with the hypocrisy and double standards already!

That holiday wasn't forced, it's in their calendar. I'm not a fan of Saraki, but did Tambuwal not do this same thing when he defected to the APC? And did Buhari and the APC not commend him for going on recess soon after he decamped?

Or because it wasn't to PDP then, so there was nothing wrong.

Allow them. They think everyone is an idiot without the sense to reason for themselves. When Tambuwal went on this recess, there was nothing wrong then. Suddenly, it has become an issue.

Stop exposing your ignorance here. When the President went on vacation, he handed over power to the AgP . The office of President didn't fail to function as Federal executive meetings were held. Osibanjo didn't act as vp but as AgP as stipulated by law. The Executive duties / functions didn't fail to be carried out. When Civil servants went on annual leave, the function of civil service didn't come to comatose as their are other workers who take up their responsibility. When Judges go on the annual leave , the courts are not under lock as provisions are usual made for other Judges who take up the case file of Judges who might have gone on holidays. The case of NASS should not be different. They seat less than 159 days in a year with their bogus salary and various dubious running expenses. Stop supporting impunity. There are urgent National matters to be attended to. Only this year, they have gone on recess/ holidays/ leave more than 3 times. December is around the corner, they will go for another recess/ leave/ holidays for another 30 days.

He can only educate people like you who believe in lies and deceit. People like you who don't know their left from right. Even the law that established the National assembly does allow them to convey when there are urgent National matters to be attended to. This is the third time they are going on recess/ holidays/ leave this year alone. December again, the NASS goes for another recess with all the millions they have been paid.

It's never too late to get informed. Nothing wrong to go on recess but the law says. if there is an urgent National matters, the National assembly must reconvey to attend to such matters. Don't let your sentiments becloud your sense of reasoning. December is months away, they are going for another 1 month recess/ holidays. but their salary and allowances wouldn't go on recess.

Is that holiday part of their calendar?

Did APC senators agree to that recess?

If all senators did, all you typed up there isn't necessary

Saraki took a question on this yesterday and the answer was plain simple, the Senate is through with most matters before it for the year except for the issue of INEC and elections which was brought in July when it could have been brought much earlier, being an important issue they had to spare time on that last day of sitting to discuss the INEC issue, reason it wasn't resolved was the fact that it has go go through relevant committees of the house n senate to be passed, and to ensure that is done they have decided to reconvene the Senate earlier than scheduled

Next time understand bfr talking nonsense.

Your long epistle can only appeal to your group who know next to nothing and invariably are blinded by sentiment. The INEC budget was submitted to the Mesujamba before he suddenly went on recess. If he has the interest of the Nation at heart, while not attending to it within a week before he abruptly called for a recess? So that they can enjoy their holidays without interruption.Especially when he knew , the INEC budget is a matter of urgency. Abi , you have suddenly forgotten what he did to whole Nigerian budget that was submitted in Nov 17 /2017 which took them 7 months before it was passed.

I can only laugh, you're the one being sentimental here, Saraki could not have single handedly stopped a budget or declare recess without approval by his colleagues Na

Anywhich way the bill will be worked on next week....... Win for the nation, at least at the moment!

Go peruse through the various acts and rules regulating the business of the National Assembly before positing.

It's well enshrined therein. Do we ever study history in this country and world over. Or we are just trying to be dumber and most distant while the world burns.

Just too stupid and lazy and trying to escape responsibility by abusing illicit drugs and street substance when we are suppose to be asking content and compelling questions.

We are the next generation man. If we can't follow up on our research prowess and hold these criminals liable, how do we make progress as a nation?

Esua sold his birth right for a piece of shut at a time he felt it was useless. For some few bucks don't wager your future. Call a spade a spade and not a farming apparatus.

You might wanna relocate should the country burn down, but remember this is the only country you have and if you screw it up and relocate,no matter where ever you go, you will always be an immigrant and your generations after you will always be children of immigrant. So watch it youth man.

Don't shit at the table with swine eating;wine drinking Babylonians. Beg God for mercy and turn a new leaf youth man. Peace.

Practically you have said nothing. May be you didn't even know the law guiding the existence of NASS mandates them, to reconvey from recess if there are urgent National matters that need attention.Abi you lost your memory the last time a budget was submitted to NASS in Nov 17/ 2017.The same budget didn't get approval until June 2018. If the NASS are patriotic enough, why the sudden call for recess when they knew they just needed a week to approve the INEC budget which is meant to finance the election coming up in Feb 2019.Why not approve it within a week so they can enjoy their 2months break with any interruption. Its better you keep your mouth if you don't know the right thing to right instead of allowing your sentiment to becloud your sense of reasoning.
