Max Air has resumed the airlifting of pilgrims from Katsina state after it replaced a faulty plane.

The airliner's 5N-DBK aircraft developed a fault after it failed to airlift the fourth flight of intending pilgrims from the state.

The pilgrims had to disembark from the faulty plane and a new plane was brought in after 2 hours delay.

The arrival of the plane with registration 5N-ADM was greeted with joy after pilgrims had waited for over 8 hours waiting.
