This would be dependent on so many factors such as battery condition, type of battery, genuine or chinko battery grin. Lastly, how much of current is used from your battery charger to charge the battery. Also environmental factor (temperature) would be a contributory factor

provide the following exact values.

1. Battery capacity.

2. Charging current

3. Circuit Load

It actually depends on the meaning of "dead" battery. While conceding that batteries are not ever "completely dead" doesn't mean they are rechargeable.

To answer your question directly: the more discharged a battery is, the longer it will take to recharge it. Batteries usually take several hours to recharge; if the battery is severely discharged then it may take up to 12 hours or more to recharge.

Dry Charge battery requires some maintenance to remain good and ready for starting vehicles, ensuring low electrolyte - generally called water - loss leading to a long service life. Reason 'battery chargers' were available at every corner shops in major naija towns and cities.

While Sealed Maintenance Free (SMF) requires no maintenance as the water loss has been reduced and charge retention improved on; more amount of water is used thereby eliminating the need to top-up/add more water during the lifetime of the battery.

Finally, (with the little I know) it's going to be a pyrrhic victory if a "dead" battery ever gets back to life.

It all depends on what battery type. I'm assuming it might be a lead acid battery chemistry (12V).

Charging it from 0V(0%) to fully charged (80-100%), is dependent on the battery's capacity(45 or 100Ah, for instance); output current t from the charger being used to recharge the batteries, a d resistances of the charger wires(and that if the battery).

For instance, a 45Ah discharged battery, being recharged with a 2A output charger, would take ~23hrs(a day). Assuming a 5-10% factored into this, to take care of heat losses due to internal resistances from the battery itself, and resistances also from the charger wires, means it could take more than 24hours.

The more the charger current, the faster the battery gets recharged. But this shortens battery's lifespan.

How long depends on the capacity of the battery and the current rating of the charger. A 100AH battery will require a 20 Amps charger to charge in 5 hours. (100/20=5)

Simple calculation just divide the battery capacity ah by chargeing capacity amp imagine ur battery is 75 ah and charger 10amp 75รท10=7.5hour to charge if is maintenance free battery just add distilled water with solution of Epsom salt

For ur affordable solar solution call me

Very correct. We can calculate it.
Using ohms law ( V=IRT).
You can estimate the required time.
Check on the battery to know it's voltage or
Use multimeter to measure Resistace, voltage and current. Then Make T ie time the subject formulae and get the estimated time.
