Attention disorder.
Must every Nigerian know u going for vacation? Why can't Niggas keep to themselves for crying out loud?
After all the nonsense pictures is boarding pass we seeing now, whether we gonna see Visa and Plane restroom pics later is only God that knows.
Are u the only person to have tour the whole world?
Am sick to see guys having this show off attitude.

In a country where majority lives under $1 per day the few ones that got to see a Plane will feel on top of the world.
Lawd a Mercy.

Stop the insults. You dont have to stoop that low to pass ur points across. It makes you look silly.
You may disagree that you are jelous, but you do sound it. Whatever emotions you possess, they do come across as negative and destructive.

And yes, i have travelled far and wide, as much as maybe more than poster. But not everyone is that brave to post pics here reason being "bad belle people" like oyewolejos grin grin cheesy

My flight arrived a few minutes early at about 5:15am this morning.

I made it round T5 quickly enough and since and was soon at the entry clearance desk.

The officer was clearly not happy to be at work as before I approached her I sensed she was in a bad mood.

Officer: How long are you in the UK for
Me: One day. I'm flying to the states tomorrow
Officer: So essentially you are here on transi
Me: Yes
Officer: Any business while you are here?
Me: No

She racked up a bit of a fuss over my passports as she claimed the fact that all three were attached together meant that it was difficult for her to scan my visa. That's a first for me.

She asked me if I was fingerprinted when I applied for my visa and I said yes. She didn't look convinced and she requested that I repeat it.  I guess this is what the poster below meant

Carmint:

Hello, Please anyone with useful information on the present process of returning home from the UK at the ports of departure?
I hear you are  fingerprinted at the port of entry, will like to know if you are scanned too or fingerprinted to know your date of departure from the UK
Please i need useful info from those that came for summer(LATEST INFO) and not just anyone to add to this but true answers from experience
Thank You as you share
You are blessed

This was my response then

ahonohai:

I am not aware of fingerprinting at the point of entry or exit. I returned to Nigeria in March and was not fingerprinted at all. The only time I was fingerprinted was during the biometric scanning at the VFS Center during the visa application process.

I have only noticed that there has been an update to the thread as follows;
coolier:

He is right. That's the new law and anybody with a biometric UK Visa will be fingerprinted at point of entry to compare it with the one the applicant submitted with his Visa application - just to be sure it's one and the same person. If you got your UK Visa particularly in Nigeria you will definitely be fingerprinted at the point of entry except you're one of those applicants whose Visas were issued before biometric visas were introduced because then these people's biometrics will not have been captured as part of the application process. You can only be fingerprinted when returning home if you overstay and unlucky to be caught.

I dropped off my luggage at The hostel I'm staying at (pictures later) as I couldn't check in till after 12pm.

Since then I have picked up my new camera and I hooked up with my aunt and her family who are holidaying in the UK from Denver.

Pictures to follow later
