Why Atiku, Tambuwal, Saraki, others must sign undertaking – PDP

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party has said that all its presidential aspirants must sign an undertaking that they will abide by the outcome of its presidential primary slated for October 5 and 6.

Also, the party said that the aspirants would give a commitment to the party not to defect to other political parties either before or after the primary.

A number of politicians have already declared their intention to run for the presidency in the PDP.

They include former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; a former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso; Senator Jonah Jang; Senate President Bukola Saraki; Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State; Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State; a former Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Relations, Alhaji Tanimu Turaki (SAN); a former governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido; a former governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa; and Dr. Ahmed Datti.

All these politicians are expected to sign the undertaking.

Saraki as the face of our democracy is not power hungry.

He will sign it.

His goal is not just to rule Nigeria but to help remove a bad leader from government.

As he did in kwara, he laid good example of leadership in kwara as he was able to provide good roads, equipped hospital, good schools and other social amenities in the state.
He was not desperate to rule as he did in kwara when he betrayed his father to install his stooge, as he betrayed his party to become SP. Indeed he was out to rebuild Nigeria

Only few among the contestants can stock to the agreement, Atiku, Kwakwaso, Tambuwal, Saraki can deceive pdp to have agreed on the agreement but if the outcome did not favour them, they may likely work against their party and at the end decamp . Still is a case study, after he signed agreement with apc in 2014, he did not show up in presidential campaign of PMB, at the end he decamped given flimsy excuses.
