a very bad move by d govt. the entire Europe refused to key into the bio fuel idea promoted by the US,brazil and Canada besos dey fear farmers would be tempted to sell maize and other food crops enabling engine fuel to manufacturers rather than to households for consumption nd hence enhance hunger... now our stupid leaders who are so blinded by the live for China has keyed into that.. national hunger mode activated!

But why biofuel? Are we now going to be exporting our sugar cane, cassava or corn to China? Even if we export the waste, which no doubt will be a source of revenue, why can’t we have bio-refineries in Nigeria?

Our elders used to say that before you context for the mat you must first and foremost secure the land.

Is not the words of our elders the words of wisdom again?

I still think it is.

This regime has finally succeeded in selling every sector of our economy to the Chinese. I fear for the future of our nation.

....agreed on biofuel production in china. Why not in Nigeria..Nigeria can never get better with shallow minded people at elms of affairs....#can't Wait to leave this Country

How far have we gone with crude that we want to start dabbling into bio fuel?

Do you even know what biofuel is?

A biofuel is a fuel that is produced through contemporary biological processes, such as agriculture and anaerobic digestion, rather than a fuel produced by geological processes such as those involved in the formation of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum, from prehistoric biological matter.

We are just going supply them with the raw materials now.
