Several people have reacted to the resignation of Kemi Adeosun. Most say that she should be jailed for forgery.

From what I can deduce, Kemi graduated from the University at the age of 22 but she stayed abroad till the age of 34. She then decided to relocate to Nigeria to continue her career. Upon her relocation, she was informed that she would be required to possess the complusory NYSC certificate before she can be gainfully employed in Nigeria but unfortunately, She approached a corrupt NYSC official in attempt to retrieve the certificate.

The system should be blamed in this saga. We all know that we have corrupt officials in most government organisations who are after their own pockets and not the interest of the organization. Several individuals have fallen prey to these individuals. People have received fake admission letters, fake WAEC results and even fake employment letters so why should Kemi be jailed for something she is obviously a victim of?

We need to correct the system and not prosecute the victims.

A perpetrator of forgery is not a victim but a criminal. What is appalling is this criminal culture enveloping Nigerians, where illegal behaviour is excused because our system is difficult.

What should be worrisome is the fact that she submitted her NYSC exemption certificate to DSS and It scaled through.

Now, how many other fake stuffs had been scaling through security checks?

Ur post makes no sense. If she was not qualified she should have stayed away from public sector and work as an expatriate. She committed fraud and forgery. Shud go to jail

I will not judge Kemi Adeosun but dont tell me she is not aware that the certificate is "dabo",; i think what happened at the the time she was called up to public service she didn't have an nysc certificate just like our system works, someone always has a crooked way of doing it.

You guys defend forgers, looters and criminals so far they are your own. Nigerians say they are religious but are all hypocrites. How can you say one shouldn't blame a public officer with fake credentials? She knew without the fake cert, she wouldn't have gotten a government job so she went and procure it and used to work. Are you saying or encouraging people to get fake certs, use it to work but when caught, they should give excuses? What type of a society are you leaving for the next generations?

By admitting her cert was fake, she must be arrested and jailed to serve as a deterrent to others. This is what is done in a normal society.

May God punish all those who always support petty thieves to be killed or punished but defend the rich who are their own

May your enemies going up and down to look for information to destroy you not locate you. Mrs. Adeosun's enemies went up and down and never rested until they pulled her down. Professionals in politics will never be allowed to succeed by professional politicians. This is another case of witch hunt. Good people with ideas in this country do not have power. We celebrate rather unfortunately bad people who hold on to power. If Mrs. Amina Mohammed had not alerted us a few days ago about how Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala had made efforts to cancel the debts of this country many would still be believing the evil vampires of this country damaging her reputation. The likes of Amaechi and Oshiomole the tailor went to court to stop Jonathan from saving yet they turn around to accuse Mrs. Iweala and Mr. Jonathan of emptying the treasury. Just in the early 2000s Amaechi was Odili's PA but today his wealth is dizzying. Today it is the turn of Mrs. Adeosun to have one wicked person damage her career. Who knows whose turn it will be tomorrow? The end of wicked politicians in this country must surely come very soon.
