Charles Idahosa, a former Political Adviser to immediate past Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, has told Igbos the benefit of supporting President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term.

Speaking with newsmen to mark his 65th birthday in Benin City at the weekend, Idahosa, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, insisted that the Igbo will be allowed to take a shot at the presidency after President Buhari’s rule.

He said, “The Igbo should look very well and plan properly because a Buhari presidency is the best bet for them to get the presidency in 2023.

“The South-West, the North and South-South have had it. It is the turn of the South-East in 2023.”

He also expressed confidence that President Buhari would win the 2019 presidential election “hands down” to consolidate on the country’s development.

What I don't understand is that Igbos are not crying for the presidency of Nigeria but everybody is crying about what Igbos have to do to get it in 2023.

The presidency of Nigeria is not The main focus of most Igbos

The people who have produced the President in the past have nothing to show for it. But they will be the ones giving Igbos advice about how to produce the President of Nigeria.

I'm not so sure other ethnic groups want to trust the Igbos with Nigeria's presidential seat anytime soon.


Apart from the fact that they hate every other ethnic group including themselves and they think everybody is beneath them, their agitation for their own Republic and the way they've gone about it doesn't inspire trust nor confidence in them.

But maybe if they present someone like Charles Soludo, maybe Nigerians would reconsider but we all know a hundred candidates will come out of the east to contest the presidency making their chances even slimmer.

Well, I don't think Yorubas love themselves either, we all know how yoruba Muslims and yoruba traditionalists fought themselves, slicing one man arm as a result, so u can imagine the kind of HATE they harbored that resulted to that, but the igbos who u claim hate themselves will never do such.

Yorubas are so divided along religious lines but will be quick to point fingers and gloat about someone else.
