#OyoLGworks - ONA ARA LGA

Due to challenges that varied from vandalism, theft, insecurity and wreck, 51 communities within the Akaran district of Ona-Ara LGA, have not had electricity in 14 years.

14 full years!

But, this will change by the 17th of October, 2018. Light will lit the homes of citizens in these 51 communities.

This is because about 3 weeks ago, the local government, through the leadership of Alhaji Biliaminu Aderemi Ogundele, launched an aggressively interventionist move that involved community heads, community security heads, illustrious sons of Ona-Ara and some bits of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from domiciled companies; an intervention that will ensure electricity is restored for the good of the people.

Exactly 2 weeks ago, work began, to the joy of the inhabitants, and on the 17th of October, that joy will rise even higher.

Nigerians are suffering but they love it. Imagine someone voting for a party that didn't pay salary for 2years because of sentiment... Any you think you're doing me that is self employed??
