Biography
His full names are Adetokunbo Olufela Durotoye and was born in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, to Layiwola and Adeline Durotoye. Both parents are professors at the ancient University of Ibadan.

His parent moved from the University of Ibadan to continue teaching at Obafemi Awolowo Univesity in the ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
At a very young age, Fela Durotoye was enrolled in Staff Children’s School between (1974-1981). He also attended Moremi High School, a government run secondary school within the campus of Obafemi Awolowo University (previously University of Ife), Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He is a Master’s degree holder in Business Administration (M.B.A) from Obafemi Awolowo University. Fela also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with Economics, Masters degree in Business Administration (M.B.A) and Master of Philosophy Degree (M.Phil) in Strategic Management all from the same

Fela Durotoye founded VIP Consulting Limited in 2000 after previously working for Ventures and Trusts and also Philip Consulting in 1998. Using Fela Durotoye’s book, ‘The 17 Secrets of High Flying Students’ as a tool that delivers to students, principles that make them super achievers, while the entire RAISE plan guarantees an educational system that is believed will make Nigeria the worlds’ center for academic excellence by December 31, 2025.
