CilicMarin:Stop disgracing yourself, you illiterate!! Don't you know there is a difference between poverty line and absolute poverty?? I swear I will give you a dirty slap if you were close to me while saying all these rubbish!! Do you zombies have conscience at all? Everyone is now affected and it's getting worse with each passing day, although I'm getting a buffer from my dollar earnings but my local business has taken a serious hit with very little sells and all around me are people suffering and wondering where the next meal is going to come from and there seems to be no hope anywhere!!! 1 Like 1 Share |

4601CE: u are just selfish. they said more nigerians are getting poorer and u are here reinforcing it, that u will still vote for the poverty generator. where is the humanity in u stop calling jonathan. assumming jona left a table with three legs instead of four, instead of his successor to repair it back to four, he kept on promising and blaming and now that table is standing on one leg. surprisingly zombies like u are still clapping. please recheck urself |

d reason am dedicated to buharis exit is BC in his former tenure we witnessed same hardship we re going through now. today he blames PDP for looting and causing Nigeria problem but in 1983 who did he have to blame for bringing hardship to Nigeria. am convinced beyond all doubt DT buhari is clueless

SarkinYarki: When will PDP sycophants have sense? You're saying if over 100m Nigerians lived below poverty line in 2012, how come we weren't the poverty capital of the world? That's like the daftest question ever, & it can only come from PDP sycophants! China & India, who were previously ahead of Nigeria in the poverty index, have been actively pulling their citizens out of poverty for years (India, I know, even has poverty alleviation programs as old as 25 years), which is why you see their poverty level has been dropping consistently, in spite of them being ranked above Nigeria. But Nigeria's poverty level has been increasing during that period! How is it Buhari's fault that China & India's hard work has now finally moved them below Nigeria? |

socialmediaman: To All Buharists Forget all fake stats and negativity. Treat them with the disdain whichthey are worthy of. Stop repeating the same explanations u have given for three plus years. Focus only on what this admiin has achieved. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO WARPED STATS. HERE IS THE REAL DEAL “In 2010 our debt was $35 billion, $41 billion in 2011, $48 billion in 2012, $64 billion in 2013, $67.7 billion in 2014, $63.8 billion in 2015, $57.8 billion in 2016, $70 billion in 2017 and $73 billion in 2018. “The nation’s debt as at today was $73 bilłion, an increment of $10 billion from the $63 billion inherited in 2015,” he said. Osinbajo revealed that from oil, the nation earned $119.8 billion from 1990 to 1998, $481 billion from 1999 to 2009 and $381 billion from 2010 to 2014, while present administration has only earned $112 billion from June 2015. Vanguard They have no shame blaming Buhari for the hard days they planted for the common man in this country. Now they want a confirmed jaguda to to come share what Buhari has not allowed them to steal.... |

People should stop saying Buhari decieved Nigerians. He became president with the the votes of 15 million gullible people, with the backing of his core northern brothers, the help of Jaga's INEC and the support of some southern slaves. I was not decieved, i know who he is, i know he was going to fail. |

CilicMarin:You still don't get the point. There are different yardsticks for measuring poverty. And this is EXTREME poverty, ie, 50 cents or less per day. That headline used the dollar per day yardstick. If one uses that now, the difference will be like 7up |
Re: 1.1m Nigerians Slip Into Extreme Poverty In Four Months by Nowenuse: 1:43am On Nov 01, 2018 |
SarkinYarki: Thank you for enlightening CilicMarin. There is a difference between 'poverty' and 'extreme poverty', the rankings are different. Nigeria has more extremely poor people than any other country in the world. What a shame!. 1 Like |
