The big teams are trying really hard to buy my best players, Ward-Prowse and Hojberg. Both players have handed In a transfer request but am not selling for less than £100M. The madness of the transfer market in real life has been perfectly replicated in the game.

They have a great youth academy and recruitment which is perfect for regens. I always use Southampton as my first save since fm12

Av found a way to bypass the overpriced transfer market, when biding for a player, I add additional variables that I know are impossible to meet. For example, if a club wants 60M for a defensive player, I bid about 20M, then another 40M after he scores 50 league goals which is extremely hard.

I play counter attacking and use the heavy metal marking system popularly called the gengenpress when trying to win back the ball

Thiago Maia, I bought him from Lille. He is pretty good and perhaps the 2nd best player in the half back role behind Sergio Busquest ( active players only)

I can't believe he has a 20 acc and pace. Wow! At 21 too. In my fm18 save, his accent and pace is only 17.

Time to upgrade to fm19.

if you are playing FM19, try buying Lovro Majer(if the big clubs haven't poached him first). I got him in my second season for just £5million and his transfer value Rose to £40M immediately. He scores lots of goals especially free kicks.
