Accident is most likely a result of lackluster vehicle maintenance.

1) All tires that are visible are severely worn. The front one is even wearing oddly.

2) The rear tires suffered an explosion most likely from over inflation. The damage from this tire wasn't as a result of the accident since the rim does not show any damage.

Do yourself a favor and get a real tire gauge and follow the manufacturers recommendation on your B pillar.

DOn't get a tire gauge like in the first pic, get a good commercial grade one like in the second picture.

And for God sakes, stop looking for the cheapest tires that you can find. Stop buying Chinko or used tires.

Important and very relevant.

Quite a number of Kogi's prominent children have gone through road traffic accidents - Achema, Ahmed, Ocholi etc. Others (or their immediate family) had accidents but survived - Idris, Wada etc. And then of course we mourn the many sons and daughters of Kogi whose names we may never get to know...also lost to road traffic accidents.

If you actually know how to maintain your vehicle and you value your life - please take responsibility and don't leave things to people who don't know what they are doing. That driver you have delegated things to will go to vulcanizers who'll inflate your tyre pressures all the way to 65 psi - or more. They just don't know any better. That personal assistant or procurement officer who's in charge of your vehicle will buy second hand, substandard winter tyres and put your life at risk. They are trying to 'save' money.

Take responsibility. Keeping your vehicle roadworthy could save your very life. Don't leave it to others who don't have a clue.
