I don't actually get what feminism stands for because I have read different debate about it from shallow and renowned people. I would always support feminism that stands for equal opportunities for both sex than equality for both sex. The two cases are different in all facet of life. You can't ask me to be equal with a woman I paid 2 million naira as bride price. Africa's culture has influenced negativity into feminism in any way you want to look at it. If I start giving so many instances of that this page won't contain it. What I believe Chimamanda and Co. Should do is to first educate and enlighten the female sex of not being reliant on their male counterparts and fights those traditions that stood against their mediocrity.
