We only heard that Deji was arrested, we weren't told the circumstances surrounding his arrest. Should any idiot who calls himself an activist be allowed to disturb public peace just because he/she can? What if he used inflammatory words during his purported protest? What if he was arrested because the police felt his protest could degenerate into public disturbance? I know the Nigerian Police gets a lot of sticks, but not everyone who works with (in) the police is an idiot. You have to read Deji's comments on twitter to see that the guy is just an overgrown fuuuuk boy with no tact whatsoever. If he is granted bail, fine. If he is found to have violated any rules, jail the motherfvvvvker!

The Russian doctor says: "Gentlemen, we take half a heart from a man, put it in another's chest, and in 2 weeks he is looking for work."

The Nigerian doctor laughed: "You all are behind us. Three years ago, we took a man with no brains, no heart, and no liver and made him President.

Now, the whole country is looking for work!

Inflammatory words you say? Let me assume you mean defamatory words... But even at that, you should know the fundamental human rights of freedom of speech and information are enshrined in our constitution. Only in Africa would you see things of this nature happen and
this is 21st century for crying out loud. A country like Nigeria should have known better. Did you read the charge sheet of the allegation levied against them? It's a shame!

"inflammatory remarks"

Where in the world do they arrest people for protesting. Reason with your head. Even in France having voilent protest, no one is arrested, the police job is to maintain law and order. Stop spewing trash. This is democracy. If you cannot take the heat of public office, get out

Deji Adeyanju should be arrested and kept arrested.

The law says you need a police permit for any form of rally did he get one, had it been this his useless gathering got violent and lives were lost, you will still blame the police.

Where is that Albino who stole NTAs equipments and scammed UBA to bail him out, after all he is a senior member of his Twitter constituency.

You tried so hard to sound intelligent.
Police shouldn't arrest even if they feel your protest will turn violent. That is simply assumption. The duty of the police is to provide security during protests, yes, police must ensure protesters are protected.

PROTEST ISNT A CRIME, IT IS YOUR RIGHT.

YOU MAY NOT KNOW BECAUSE THIS IS NIGERIA WHERE EVERYTHING IS DONE LIKE IN JUNGLE

Don't be an ignorant twit! Have you ever been to France? It is senselessly overzealous people like you who have never crossed the borders of Nigeria, that are quick to make comparisons. Do you know that over 200 protesters were arrested in France? Just shut your ignorant mouth up! Travel to Togo and stop thinking the world revolves around your Bariga enclave!

You also tried to sound intelligent but exposed your ignorance in the process. Police can make arrests if they sense that a protest has the potential to go overboard, it happens everywhere in the world. Over 200 protesters were arrested in Paris during the anti-Macron protest. Read, if you can. Travel, if you can afford it.

If it's like that in the western world then half of the population would have been in jail. This is a democracy. Everyone has a right to criticize the government.
