It is always like this every year when the Igbos travel back home, Yorubas are not at the forefront of using all available means to oppose Biafra agitation for nothing because they know the implication of Igbos exit from Nigeria.

Hausa-Fulani will be unopposed in their massacre and occupation of the rest of Nigeria.

It maybe false picture, but the truth of the matter is that lagos is always dry every year when the Igbos travel home. Unless if one is lying to himself or avoiding the truth, lagos will start picking up from 10th January. After 24th December of every year, everything will be on low level in lagos till Igbos start to return from 5th January.

What do you think that will be happening in Lagos when all the major market controlled by Igbos is shut down due to christmass travel e.g. Computer Village, Idumota, Alaba international, Trade fair complex, Ladipo, Yaba.etc

If the pictures are false then the assertion that Lagos is empty is also false. Moreover during weekends office areas like VI and Ikoyi are always deserted, do Ibos travel back home every weekend too.

Those pictures are from the fuel subsidy crisis.

Right now, most Igbos have gone out of Lagos with bags of rice to their muddy villages to feed their starving villagers.

By January, if you see how Igbos would be running out of Igboland, you would think war broke out there.

Lagos will never be empty but there is always clear less of activities and traffic after 24th December till 10th January because major market are not fully operational because of travel.

Must you insult, lagos is the commercial hub of Nigeria, it is like that in every country if you are widely travelled. More people live in commercial capital of every country and go back to their homes during major festive period even in Europe.

lol...i was actually waiting to read ur comment. U know if both of us were not from opposing tribes, we would have actually been great friends and allies. Tribal supremacy is how europe was shaped by england, france and rome.

A dose of tribal supremacy is important in 3rd world countries to build cohesion and assimiliation.

Nigeria should have maintained the 3 regional system of 1960 and assimiliated other nigerian tribes into hausa igbo and yoruba. We would have been better for it.

Of course igbos are the greatest race in africa wink

You seem to agree that igbos make up a larger percentage of Lagos with this your post and that's the main point. Others are ignored

Hope you didn't include wawa and abakaliki people in the Igbos you are talking about? Those descendants of fulanis are never Igbos and infact, have been a cog in the wheel of Igbo growth for centuries with their lazy and backward attitude which they inherited from their ancestors.
