My brother, it is not even the duty of the President (FG) to restructure Nigeria. His powers are limited by the constitution of the land. The lawmakers are the ones with the constitutional powers to make such amendments. Since Saraki and Dogara are in PDP and are supporting a candidate already campaigning of restructuring Nigeria as if he can do it constitutionally. Too much human lives and properties have been lost to the guerilla war.

What will end the bombing of oil facility by militant in niger delta region is for the federal government to stop the sharing of the region crude oil money to states. I disagree with you on the point that they will extend their territory to other parts of Nigeria.

It is the federal government especially the northern political leadership that is afraid of the effect of granting such demand. The federal government sense that granting such demands will lead other region such as south west, south east, south south, middle belt etc to also seek their own autonomous state from the Nigeria federation with the perceived fear that it will lead to the disintegration of Nigeria.

However, granting an autonomous state to boko haram is the best option as the united nation will be invited to conduct a referendum in the boko haram territory which is basically the north eastern part of Nigeria.

Even boko haram was not that dreadful from the very start but rather it was the Nigeria state that went to the extreme by killing Mohammed Yusuf their leader during the regime of Musa Yar 'adua and Jonathan. That dastardly acts by the federal government provoked boko haram and with a view to teach the Nigeria state a lesson they linked up with ISILs and other terrorist group to unleashed terrors on their perceive targets.
