What would have happened were Dasuki a Christian or Southerner?

What's up with us always wanting to defend crooks given they are our tribesmen or from our region down South? I don't see Muslims or Northerners going up in arms when Buhari goes after one if them over corruption related issues.

Imagine a Chief Justice saying he "forgot" to declare a bank account owned by him! How can anyone with a brain, even a retarded one, step up to defend this?

Aren't we simply telling ourselves "it is okay to be a thief as long as you're my brother"?

Amaechi was right after all.

my dear as the Presidency has always been quiet on some other persons, he can as well look away from this one.. EQUATION BALANCED

U need to shut up my guy. U lack the knowledge to know what is going on in Nigeria. If GEJ was the one doing all these tribalism, people like u will be freely talking trash. Clark's community alone can effectively pay him 10k dollars. Don't front

In as far as I believe fighting corruption should be thorough and all-round, the CJN should not have been too naive to skip such an important requirement of the law like Asset declaration. He should have even known better. When the citadel of justice is ignorant and found wanting, what happens to the body polity?

...and for Edwin Clark, this is not a tribal matter, but a political matter that requires a political solution.

The Presidency can as well look away on this issue as he has been on others... Afterall they do not want to be thorough on the war on corruption.. Why been selective?

Shameless Clark who will not respect the gray hair on his head. Why play the ethnic card here? Many Northeners have also been attacked and prosecuted in this government and never did the north cry foul. Onnoghen is only being taken to the court of law where he has the right to defend himself and if he's innocent, he'll go free. The south should stop these ethnic nonsense when their own are found wanting and are being tried.

When former president Jonathan unceremoniously removed Justice Ayo Salami, democracy was not in any danger but now that Justice Walter Onnoghen is to go and explain himself as per why he forgot to declare his Domiciliary account, THEIR democracy is in danger. Those who believe they can be in that shoes or are already in it, started shouting! Forgetting that the CJN is a civil servant!
Ignorantly, they continue to say president Buhari is the one tackling him and the entire South-South. Is it that we don't have institutions again? Don't let us forget the fact that it is a petition and that the institution involved, reacts swiftly should not be a cause for concern. In fact Nigerians supposed to hail the institution and probably wait another time if her response will be as fast as this and if not, then criticise!
May we wake from our hypocritical slumber soon!

Elder Edwin Clark shouldn't be doing this.

A elder from the SS should be seen in the light of up holding justice not playing regional sentiments when it comes to issues that involve national interest.

If the CJN is not guilty good and fine, but if he is guilty let him. face the music.
This was the same way Kemi Adeosun was muzzled out of office because she was going wanting in her qualification. So, I do not see why Inoghen should be an exception.

Little wonder, persons like Ibori was welcomed with such fanfare after his eventual release from the UK.

These elders are one way or the other connected to the love for corruption that have enveloped the SS by youths who no longer see hard work and honest business as a means to live other than Yahoo yahoo cum blood /pant ritualist.

He should not be seen playing this sort of games.

If everybody starts defending anybody from their region then let's forget about the change we seek.

Prof, Iste Sagay is a southerner, Festus Keyamo is a southern and many others under Buhari administration who have not been found wanting.
