This news report here is linked to a tweet by Ms Lauretta Onochie and quotes the US Bureau of African Affairs (AF) as explaining why the US authorities have not arrested the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, when he visited the country recently.

The report quotes the AF as saying Atiku was booked officially as an aide to the Nigerian Senate President and so, he could not be arrested based on the diplomatic ties that exist between our two countries.

All politicians are great liars. I don't know what to believe again. Please, make una help me check the report yaself.

Please these guys should rest. Atiku in America shouldn't even be an issue in the first place, the APC likes bringing up irrelevancies.

My own thinking is, if this report is true, then it means that Nigerians have been pushed to a point where an overwhelming majority of the people seem to be helpless: they have to choose between two very rotten eggs. The 3rd force also have corrupt elements like Obasanjo himself. Really, who blames those who are striving to be no part of this evil forest called Nigeria.

Why Atiku's American visit is considered important is that it should have laid to rest the allegation that he is so corrupt that he cannot visit a country as important as the US which would spell doom for Nigeria's diplomatic status with Atiku as President. Nigerians are often so desperate for a change that they often walk open-eyed into fire (remember the Sai Baba fever of 2015 and how fast it died down even in the North). Now, is history not repeating itself, only in a different colour? Lalasticlala, Mynd44.

Would you rather Buhari continue in power? Wouldn't that be reinforcement of failure?
Let Nigerians choose another, if he fails we will chase him away. Let us begin to show the real power in our votes. Then politicians will begin to take us seriously.

Can't we insist on some candidate outside the two rotten eggs? We even have a 3rd force that is relatively formidable.

This joke is getting stale and anoying by the day, Oop why did you post this irrelevant post?? What sort of useless diplomatic tie are you exactly talking about Saraki's immunity can't cover mr Atiku, immunities don't work like that, remember wen Mugabe wife slapped a news reporter and ran away, because they were looking for her to arrest her, her husband being the president immunity should cover her but, if Atiku is guilty of any thing as accused, he should not be invited to the usa because he wouldn't be granted visa and even if he does, he should be cooling his heels in USA prison by now, APC bring up another lie, APC should be ashamed of themselves. Spit

You and i know that those candidates will not win because this isn't going to be a free and fair election.

Oga, learn to be civil. I only humbly asked for your opinion. Now, that you've aired your view, stop talking arrogantly as if your view is final. Bye.

That's the helplessness that must not be found in this nation of supposed believers unless our professed beliefs are false. The people have the power they don't know they have. All things are possible. We only mouth these things. It's time we put them to use in real situations such as this.
