VSC lights, traction control, check engine lights came on in my Lexus ES 350 2007, and the car stopped accelerating fine, it enters gear but wouldn't drive forward nor backward. I'm so confused now. Pls help a brother |

godwinkessi: For now, I don't think you need that scanner. You need a very competent mechanic. Prioritize this. |

It could be the throttle sensor or injector |

The VSC & TRACTION falls under the same category... simply indicating error in the care stability ( braking system) As for the gear, you might be having a erratic gear shift issue ( TRANSMISSION ERROR) & it could mean damage to your gear/ transmission The check engine light & not raising properly, is likely as a result of fault in your injector & spark system. Bottom line: open up on the work done on the car last & get it scanned by a competent Technician to run scan/diagnosis. You are in Owerri, had it been you are in Lagos. I would have help you out. |

Scanning that car first and foremost is what would unraveled what the CEL, etc means. Being desperate would lead you yo hiring people that would make you unnecessarily throw money at parts. |
