Over 1,000 policemen have been deployed to ensure adequate security as President Muhammadu Buhari presidential campaign train berths in Makurdi, Benue State tomorrow.

The state Commissioner of Police, Omololu Bishi, made this known on Tuesday at a press briefing in Makurdi.

“Over 1,000 policemen are being deployed. All areas will be covered. We may inconvenience members of the public by closing down some commercial areas for that day (Wednesday) in order to have a peaceful rally,” he said.

Bishi added that every measure necessary had been already put in place even as the police would be strategising with other sister agencies to receive the president in Benue state.

The commissioner posited that there would be no other political party rally holding tomorrow in Makurdi except that of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ah! 1000 policemen? Apart from the Army, DSS and NSCDC..... Is he visiting a war zone? What about the beats occupied by the 1000 policemen to be drafted? What happens to the citizens in those areas? Oga o! Why the unnecessary show of force? This is insensitive considering the sorry state of insecurity that obtained in Benue last year.... I am an avowed Buharist but this is just wrong #MyPersonalOpinion

Why won't he ask for 1,000 policemen?! I think most Nigerians are very evil.

We very easily forget the over 300 people killed in Agatu by Herdsmen and soldiers in 2016 and Buhari's most unfortunate silence during that period. Tiv settlements ravaged too. Close to nothing was done.

In all of these why is it that Buhari supporters and praise singers never make mention of such? Atleast while supporting, you should atleast for the sake of mankind call him out when he errs. Why do Buhari praise singers always make it seem the man is the new Mandela even in the light of staggering evidence to the negative?! How can you be so evil?

Obasenjo book my watch is his personal opinion and account from the angle he sees it.
If he actually have all the evidence he said he has against Atiku during his tenure he would have nailed him without pity.
Also if BUBU has much evidence against Atiku he also would have nailed him.
If Atiku is not an option BUBU should not be a thought at all.

FEMI FANI KAYODE AGAIN

"The bitter truth is Buhari will win this election. How can PDP reject the south west, by conceding both the party chairmanship and the vice president to the east? And went to the North, picked a Chamba man who claimed to be Fulani as their expected match to Buhari's Cultic Hausa Fulani followership? From their campaign gatherings we now know the real Hausa Fulani between them. Only the insane can think the present PDP management can defeat the duo of Buhari and Tinubu in the North and South West respectively. The only hope the PDP is banking on is the South East and South South with the North Central to be divided. But the entire North East, North East and South West are for APC. Even the South East and South South Governors are one leg in PDP and the other leg in APC. We have tell ourselves the gospel truth. ---Femi Fanikayode.
