Already fixed my child's dedication on Sunday 24th February now that elections have been moved to Saturday 23rd February I have no choice than to move the dedication by a week otherwise family members outside the state I reside would not be able to attend.

elections were also postponed in 2011, I was an adhoc staff then at a polling unit ready for proceedings only to start moving things back again and of course we all know of 2015, where dasuki d so-called atm orchestrated d six weeks postponment

This one is too close just few hours to the commencement of the election. It's painful bro.

Anyway I will do what is humanly possible to vote I wouldn't care how much it will cost me.its better I sacrifice 20k on logistics than stay 4years in penury.
Amen.. God bless.

This is a disappointment, with over 3+ years to plan an election and this is what we're getting few hours to the election, I personally consider the 2019 election cancelled

2015 election postponement came days before the election scheduled date, it is not the same with this one. Billions of Naira will go in for this stupid act from INEC. Schools have been shut down for two days, millions travel for the election even INEC mobilized their Adhoc staff, security forces mobilized both equipment and personnel, millions of Nigerian cancelled their business schedules and appointments, foreign observers mobilized to respective states of assignments and will stay for extra one week some of then never budgeted for. The timing is very bad.
post=75777312:
Not nice at all....

The timing is the most painful part (just around 6 hours to the election day!).

This is EXACTLY the same thing we complained of in 2015.
Why would the government that came in after that disastrous melodrama repeat the same nonsense?
We are not expecting to see a repeat 4 years later.

INEC should have done better this year.

Disappointed with INEC.

Are you sure you know what you're calling for?

What will happen if the inec chairman resigns?

Won't it take Bubu time to appoint another chairman?

That means six months or a year postponement?

Pls someone should enlighten us on this. It looks like this plan can unfold and before we know it, election is postponed for a year.

The worst part is that the two major political parties now have a genuine reason to reject the outcome of the election if it does not favor them.

It is also likely to affect APC more than the PDP because PDP are likely to spin the story against the APC.

So it's bad for PDP, more terrible for APC and unkind to the masses

What was the Inec chairman thinking?

He received a call. cool

I don't understand?

So all those travelling from overseas or in between states and local government are all likely to vote for one particular political party and those already in country and not travelling are for the another political party?

I don't get it!

yes , most travellers are Igbos and other ss indigenes who are most likely not to vote for Buhari and those traveling into the country are most likely not to vote for Buhari because they are of the online community and the online community hates Buhari

The problem is that the election was postponed in the middle of night. During jonathan era we were informed about the shift in election a week before. I will try my best oh. Buhari to daura is a must.
