Lol..Hope they will visit Ogun state this time?

They are so scared of the election... They had all the time to campaign, they started before Buhari but couldn't complete it like Buhari did..

Shameless people that depend on rigging.

They're following the letter of the law, not hi g wrong with that. The spirit of the act they are basing reopening of campaigns is being ignored. I guess Inec ordered the cessation of campaigns to quieten the polity, but knowing the useless APC, they are probably running around in circles trying to buy votes.

Research for research.

Monkey see, monkey do. APC, monkey. PDP, monkey.

In any democracy, the constitution and not the electoral umpire is supreme. Our constitution needs total overhauling though. Too much controversy and lacuna.
Like for Atiku, Share for Buhari.

I have never supported any party between the two leading parties before but I will stand with reopen of campaign by PDP by tomorrow. All this shallow thinking of APC party to rig this election will not work... No more hardship in our land....

On the particular issue I 'support' & 'commend' the PDP..., it is clearly stated in the existing laws.

As for the Commission's non-refusal to reopen the collection of PVC window it is strictly at its discretion (no qualms)

Polls Postponement: The PDP after due consideration of the provision of the Electoral Act, is set to reopen its open campaigns consequent upon the postponement of Presidential and Senate elections by INEC from the earlier scheduled date of Feb. 23, 2019.

The PDP rejects the wrongful administrative prohibition of open campaigns by INEC, holding that such administrative pronouncement was erroneous, directly in conflict with the provision of the Electoral Act and is not backed by any other law in our country.

Our position is predicated on the clear provision of section 99 (1) of the Electoral Act which stipulated that “for the purposes of this Act, the period of campaigning in public by every political party shall commence 90 days before polling day and end 24 hours prior to that day”

The clear import of this provision, in the current situation, is that given the postponement of the election to February 23, 2019, the 24 hours requirement for closure of all public campaigning falls at midnight of February 21, 2019.

The PDP reminds INEC that whenever its administrative pronouncement conflicts with the Electoral Act, such administrative pronouncement must bow before the law. The party charges INEC to be appropriately guided while directing its members to await further directives.

Atiku would lose marginally, not because voters are overdosed on Buhari love, but because when trust is at stake – man-to-man – Buhari is the lesser of two evils. This is the inconvenient truth.

Even without being paid any money we're supporting President Muhammadu Buhari reelection. Simply because we hate: Corruption, impunity in governance, incompetency, looting , infidelity, bureaucracy which are demarketting our great nation Nigeria. May the Lord bless us all and let us reap the divident of democracy as soon as our able PMB is reelected as president. Let us continue to support and love truth. Next level is sure by God's grace.
