Another falsehood from the stable of the Biafrans
iwaeda:
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Tukur Buratai, has ordered the immediate withdrawal of military escorts for retired army generals and others during the elections.

The Army Chief also said that there will be no military escorts for politicians even as the army has been mandated to ensure that there is restriction of movement.

it looks more like the president is declaring a martial law or state of emergency for a civilian election, what a shame... the army is for National security both in offensive and defensive part against external enemies.
The police alone controls the security of any civil election in developed nations, i just wonder why civil defence, federal road safety and Nigeria police is not enough to secure our national election, it shows incompetence and uselessness of our law enforcers.
