Using powerbank does not mean absence of electricity to charge. Time to charge also matters.

Do you expect him to get to a function and ask his aide to look for somewhere to help him charge his phone in the hall?

Ignorance. Many people don't know that people use power banks in America and Europe where there is virtually uninterrupted power supply. When you're in a public place like attending a seminar, and your battery is low, you simply pull out your bank and connect your phone, without having to look for where to plug it and later forgetting to pick it while leaving.

We're saying the same thing. Of course there are charging ports "everywhere", but you may forget that you plugged your phone while leaving. So why not get a personal bank instead rather than losing your phone?

It is irritating how some people display their ignorance and low iq in the open. The use of power banks doesn't depict absence of electricity. Power banks are used anywhere in the world. It's more of a mobile thing. Just like you can't go about with land phone. Gosh!

Let's be smart here, in as much as we know the epileptic power supply nature of our country, we shouldn't use that to judge the 'VP' carrying a PB around as we all well know that this man enjoys power supply at his finger tips... Home, office, cars etc. He doesn't buy petrol for his Generator even. It's just for convenience purpose. Something everyone does or would do...

This is why i dont argue with ipobians, hate blinds and block their ability to reason.

PDP first discovered this quantum stupidity in them and capitalised on it, then kanu milked them and ran, same way fulani atiku still uses them

God bless you. Some people in an attempt to find fault end up making mockery of themselves. I am very sure electricity in the Villa will be 24/7. But how do you expect such a man to have such time like charging his tablet. It has to be done on the go

What a government!

His Power Minister, Fashola has not been able to ensure steady power supply for about four years in office, yet he accused PDP led government to have failed in that regard.

Soon, zombies will tell us that we generate 1mMW under Buharig or that water levels are down or that our gas fired plants has been faulty.

All government Agencies has at least two giant generators. I was at a State Government house recently and the Deputy Governor addressed people in a meeting and everyone was sweating because there was no light in Government House!

Nigeria deserves better.

Don't mind them.
Mr VP is a highly mobile person, you don't expect him to stay glued to a point just because he wants to charge his loaded gadget.
Across the world, the use of power bank is not an indicator of lack of power but to always be on the go.
Go back to ya autonomous community!

If you are always on the go... power bank is a must, wherever you live... and not all trains have a place to charge
Re: VP Osibanjo Uses Power Bank Even In Aso Rock by troubleseller: 2:20pm On Mar 02, 2019
Obvious reasons why he's using a power bank have already been stated above. Also, that might be an external hard drive seeing as he has to make presentations from time to time, he might actually be holding an external hard drive.
And what is our fascination with 'in other places this is not done'? How many of these situations have we been in to make that claim?
