There are many responsible sane Nigerians who believe that someone like PMB should not be the president of Nigeria but when presented with an Atiku option, many of these sane and responsible Nigerians either choose to vote PMB or better still to excuse themselves totally from the voting process.

Then there are those who are motivated by a total hatred of PMB. They were the ones who wished him dead when he feel ill during his first term, those who believe that it was possible for a certain Jubril to come from Sudan (this to me was the most foolish of the whole episode) and become president, husband and father to his children. Driven by such deep rooted hatred they refused to see the hand writing on the wall that the numbers were simply not adding up.

To add to their folly, an independent international consultant employ by Atiku's camp came up with a report as early as February 7th, that except Atiku was planning to rig, he stood no chance. Next was the spoke's person of PDP caught on tape saying the numbers were simply not adding up, re-echoing the position of the independent consultant on how low their chances were. PDP in their letter just before the election to INEC foolishly admitted that the NW and NC were not their strongholds, only now to be crying that they do not trust the results from those areas after admitting in writing that they considered those areas strongholds of the APC.

The other set of people who wanted Atiku to win at all cost were those whose access to illegal funds had being blocked eg civil servants in Abuja who have been forced to live on their salary, workers in JAMB who could no longer sell scratch cards and keep the money to themselves, those with EFCC cases, those on self exile like Reno and Disceani, those whose political fortunes were going up in flames like Saraki and Ben bruce and a few genuine business people who in fairness to them want a more open economy.

It is instructive to say that not everyone who supports Atiku approve of his corruption tag, some of these people feel that perhaps having done some business, he will be able to understand how they feel. But that was the feeling of the business economy in the US When they voted Donald Trump, but they are now seeing the result of their actions.

One major set of people who wanted or want Atiku to win at all cost are those who he had planned to sell our national assets to. Those Atiku referred to as his friends that he wanted to enrich. With money in their hands, all they were waiting for was him to be declared winner for them to swamp the whole place with unofficial and official bidding for those assets. After selling NNPC, LNG would have naturally become the ATM of the politicians, every sane Nigerian knows that this singular move would have been far more disastrous. What NNPC needs is to be unbundled and not sold to cronies.

Another set of people who are sane and wanted Atiku are those who do not care about economic jargons and figures. They do not want to know how much is in the federal reserve, what the GDP is, how big the economy is compared to other economies, these people are only interested in their daily survival. They are the ones who do not care if the rice they eat is from Japan or Aba as long as they can afford it, so telling them you want to boost the nation's economy by increasing local production does not appeal to them because of the attendant increase in price that usually accompany such process.

The results of the 23rd of February was a fair reflection of what the expected results were and so can be largely described as free and fair. Every election will come up with a winner and a lot of losers, which in this case had Atiku as one of them.

Atiku was a delusion that was taken too seriously.

A messiah that was coming to enrich, steal, loot, and destroy.

They tried to sell us this delusion and continue to wonder why we are not all insane as they are.

The crony Nigeria of Atiku's dream has long been left behind in Egypt.

We march on in the wilderness towards the promised land. Woe betides him who looks back and longs for the slavery of Egypt.

WE ARE truly alarmed that any right-thinking, sane human being would actually want Buhari to continue to mis -govern Nigeria for another four years on the spurious claims that he has integrity and he is fighting corruption.
His deranged apologists have even peddled the insane point that he was sent by God to teach us how to live within our means.
Some have even gone to the ridiculous & preposterous extent to say since the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ruled for 16 years which they have tagged as “waste” years, the APC must also rule for 16 years, or even more, irrespective of whether the party has proved to be a complete and unmitigated failure or not.

So you mean all the Igbos that voted him are insane? What about the few almajiris who can no longer endure the hunger that voted him too.

This election has proven that the problem with Nigeria is not mainly caused by bad leaders as people always say, but a massive lack of education as the root cause. Every educated person knows that Buhari lacks the knowledge and health fittness to rule a country. But amazingly he is getting a second term. This can only happen when the masses are not educated.

it's only an arm robber will be able to identify his fellow arm robber.

it's only the corrupt public servants that can identify their fellow corrupt civil servants/public servants.

How will Nigerians believe APC members/supporters that Atiku is a corrupt person when corruption flows in their vein.
