The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , Mr . Jimi Agbaje, says the task to free Lagos from godfatherism and oppression will continue despite his defeat at the poll . Agbaje said this in a Facebook post while thanking his supporters for believing him .
The PDP candidate said he believed that despite his loss to Babajide Sanwo- Olu of the All Progressives Congress , his candidature had sparked a flame in the minds of Lagosians.
He added , “ The elections might be over but the fight for a free Lagos must continue to ensure that governance improves and that government continues to work for interests of ordinary men and women , not just a few overlords.
“ We must continue to hold our leaders accountable by choosing, on our end to be , first, informed about the issues and, second , to participate at all levels . This is the only way we can build on the gains of our young democracy. “ It has been an absolute honour running for the highest office in our dear state . To Lagosians whose cares have been our concern , it is not goodbye but a see you later because the work goes on, the cause endures and the dream of the Peoples’ Lagos shall never die . God bless .” https://punchng.com/operation-free-lagos-will-continue-agbaje-vows/

Many zombies will insult this man, even though he has congratulated Sanwo Olu.

The man should not give up. Hardwork and determination increases the chances of attaining success.

Don't forget that Buhari contested more than twice to get into that position.

If any person thinks Pdp would win Lagos anytime soon, such person is very ignorant of Lagos politics.

There is a reason why Jimi Agbaje keeps contesting every 4 years. Jimi is not contesting to win, he is contesting to raise his chances of cutting side deals with Apc so that he can sabotage PDP's chances.

In 2015, it was reported that the money GEJ gave Agbaje to contest in Lagos, he used it to buy a house in Banana Island.

PDP's candidates in Lagos are very shameless. They would collect party flag, turn Igbos against Yorubas and Yorubas against Igbos and then cut side deals and sabotage Pdp.

Former Pdp Chairman in Lagos decamped to Apc and within 5 days was invited to screen candidates for APC governorship. Doesn't that tell you that he was working for APC while in PDP?

I'm just laughing at those clowns shouting o toge Lagos. Jagaban owns Pdp Lagos and y'all don't know nada!

Abeg make he go siddon for Sand sand jor.

Free lagos from what exactly? What are his plans and blueprints except running every four years and fading into oblivion.

Tinubus blueprint for lagos is not totally bad to be honest, it can only get better is all.

I kinda believe Sanwo will perform better than expected while settling Tinubu on the sides.

In few days time now, he will go his usual way, but PDP should not make mistake of presenting him come 2023.
