Highly credible information say Governor Rochas Okorocha has given directives to pay 100% salary to Imo workers, up from the 70% he has been wickedly paying since 2015 even after receiving the tranches of Paris Club Refunds.

His intention is to impose a heavy financial burden on the incoming governor.

What it means is that this man wickedly refused to pay these monies all this while, but once he was given quit notice, he remembered to pay full salary.

The heart of man is desperately wicked.

What is wrong in paying full salary?

At least the workers will enjoy.

Obviously there is nothing wrong in paying full salaries, but why starting it now that he has less than 3 months in office left....If he meant well for civil servants in Imo he would have been paying full salaries since 2015

I hope the incoming governor probes this under-payment of civil servants and if the extra funds are not traced to legitimate state expenditure, he should be prosecuted and jailed. The deliberate cutting of salaries should be enough of an offence sef without more.

Let him pay it, if he doesn't the incoming governor won't. At the end the workers are better off.

I don't think the incoming governor will make such silly mistake of paying half salaries when he promised to restore the full payment of salaries, sanity and rule of law

You should commend him for paying workers their full salary not typing nonsense as if he is looting money.

It is never late to do the right thing

Let him pay the backlog of the balance of 30% collect since 2015 to workers if possible and indebt the incoming government it's the right thing to do

He wants to make sure he leaves a zero account for the incoming governor so that he will fail like he did. This strategy will not work. PDP is smarter than him and his party.
