I think you just can't rig Kano. There are many odds against APC or more mildly, Ganduje. I just became aware that Emir Sanusi has arse to grind with him. Then there is Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiyya followers who are now buoyed by their slim lead. APC knows that if it loses Kano, it's chances of succeeding in 2023 presidential election would have slimmed down like a diarrhea infested child, but there some things you just can't help.
