.What's wrong with Lagos building and collapse. I think more scrutiny needs to be done now over all buildings in the state.

For a metropolitan city of this magnitude, it is a shame that the authorities cannot effectively enforce building standards after 20 years of practising democracy!

This is a very embarrassing recurrence and speaks volumes with regards to the ineptitude of the so-called jagaban of Lagos and his puppets.

Eko ni baje o!

God help us.
Those houses collapsing were built during the Babangida regime.

Back then on the Island, we all knew how shabby their construction was and we all knew they wouldn't stand the test of time.

It took around 30yrs before the results of their developer's greed to take effect.

Those that voted APC are in trouble; not Nigerians.

A three-storey building has reportedly collapsed in Kakawa street, Lagos Island on Monday.

According to a resident of the street, no one was trapped because the building was marked for demolition and occupants had vacated.

The collapsed structure, however, affected a bungalow with three occupants.
