Yesterday, After Easter Service in St. Martins Catholic Church, Isan Ekiti, Ekiti state Governor, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi inspects the college of Agriculture and Technology which has been left untouched in the past 4years by the previous Government.
The Governor express satisfaction on work done so far, in his words, Work has resumed in the school and significant progress has been made on the road construction, Dr. Fayemi has also assured that the school will resume latest by October 2019.

His Excellency also speaks on an initiative supported by World Bank known as Rural Access and Agricutural Marketting porogramme (RAAMP) which will connect Farms to Markets. RAAMP activities will also involve Resconstruction of Farm settlements, provide neccesary social ammenities and ensure that people gladly stay back in their places to farm.

RAAMP if properly implemented will boost farming activities in Ekiti state particularly the aspect of connecting Farms to Markets. From a personal experience, earnings (return on investment ) from farm produces presently do not encourage investing much in farming. Our people still have the primodial belief that "it's impossible to be rich through farming." Two, security is another issue the government has to pay a serious attention to. Insecurity in Ekiti is at alarming level now. Ekiti is naturally an agrarian human settlement and the prosperity of the state is in massive involvement in agro-allied activities.

More grace to the governor as this will reduce the numbers of unschooled, unemployment and creme rate if properly managed and implemented.
